National Redesign Institute recently held their
first annual conference in exciting Las Vegas. |

The attendees were presented with an impressive
list of speakers, including renowned designer Margi Kyle and Jackie
Jordan, a member of the prestigious international Color Marketing
Group.
The two days of speakers and presentations were
followed with the group attending the Las Vegas World Market.
Everyone had a wonderful time and all are looking forward to next
year’s conference.

NRI MEMBERS COMING TOGETHER... |
|
Recently Dora Dexter of Dora Dexter Design hosted a
gathering of local Kansas City redesigners and stagers. The
group had an opportunity to tour Dora’s lovely European style
home and ask questions about her many awesome projects. After
the tour, the ladies sat down together and visited about their
respective businesses. Each had an opportunity to talk about
their specialties, preferences and skills. In addition, they
visited at length about challenges and successes, of which
there were many of both!
Although the women were quite serious when it came to business
issues such as advertising and marketing, they had a great
time laughing and sharing stories. It was decided to compile a
sheet with each of their specialties listed so they could
refer business to each other. They also determined they would
make a list of resources and books to share. After all,
healthy competition is good! By sharing and encouraging each
other, the recognition and credibility of redesign and staging
in Kansas City will continue to increase.

Congratulations to Phara Thomas, owner of
redesign for Living. Phara
was among a select few chosen to present her work at The Tulsa
House Beautiful Show, an upscale Fall Home Show held at the
Expo Square. Phara took inspiration from a pillow and
voila……created the stunning space shown below.
